During TCP/IP transfer, a certain amount of data needs to be confirmed upon reception before more can be sent. Weirdest thing happened on the way to the forum......A friend of mine heard me rehearsing and she asked me, "Why are you singing like that? You usually have a lovely voice...."When I thought about it, I had only sung for her in "plain voice", her favorite Disney song or Happy Birthday. I tried to talk to her about it just being a different style, like country or pop. Opera is an older style designed to help project the voice over an orchestra while not killing the singer. Don't think I made a breakthrough. Made me curious, how do you "break in" you friends and colleagues to opera?Nightjunkie
